Travis J. Ledgerwood is a seasoned Attorney based in the Morgan & Akins Nashville office. His practice is focused on civil litigation, auto liability and workers’ compensation law. 

Travis has tried countless cases in the state courts of Tennessee and has successfully obtained numerous defense verdicts for his clients. He is an experienced defender of employers, insurance carriers and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation matters through trial and administrative hearings with the Tennessee Bureau of Workers’ Compensation.

Travis has previously served as Assistant General Counsel for the State of Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development. During his time as Assistant General Counsel, Travis defended the State of Tennessee in complex workers’ compensation litigation involving the Second Injury Fund.

While attending the University of Tennessee College of Law, Travis worked as a student attorney with the University of Tennessee College of Law Legal Clinic.

Outside of the office, Travis is a three-time member of the Tennessee Supreme Court Pro Bono Honor Roll for his volunteer work assisting unrepresented parties.
